Dr. Kelly O'Callahan

Dr. Kelly O'Callahan is board certified in gastroenterology and has been caring for adults with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions here at New England Gastroenterology since 1999. She received her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1993 and completed her internal medicine residency at Tufts, New England Medical Center in 1996. She completed her fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Massachusetts in 1999. Dr. O'Callahan is an Instructor of Medicine at the UMass Chan Medical School. Dr. O'Callahan strives to provide quality and compassionate care to her patients.

    Great first colonoscopy


    I had a positive experience all around with Dr. Muddana. I was nervous, it being my first colonoscopy. He explained the procedure, what to expect, taking time for me to ask any questions. He discovered very minor things, reporting them promptly to me in a report. I will be returning to him in 5 years for my follow up. I had to wait. But I am one of many. I do not expect timeliness ever when visiting a doctor. Everyone is backed up (pun intended) these days.

Srikant Muddana — Worcester, MA — NE Gastro Associates PC

Dr. Srikant Muddana

Srikant Muddana MD was born in Worcester Massachusetts, grew up in Shrewsbury and graduated St.John’s High School in 1995. He completed his Bachelor of Arts with Honors at Cornell University in 1999. He earned his medical degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2003. He completed his training in internal medicine at Boston University Medical Center in 2006 and his gastroenterology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2009 in Nashville,TN. In 2010 he  completed training in Advanced Endoscopy at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn NY. He has been practicing gastroenterology in New England since 2010 and has practiced previously in Nashua NH and Gardner MA. He joined New England Gastroenterology Associates in 2020. Dr.Muddana’s goal is to provide high quality care to his patients and to ensure the happiness and well being of his patients.

As a native to Massachusetts, he is an avid Boston sports fan and enjoys cheering on his favorite teams including the Patriots, Celtics and Red Sox.

Dr. Kyung Kim — Worcester, MA — NE Gastro Associates PC

Dr. Kyung Kim

Dr. Kyung Kim received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in 1988. He then continued at UMDNJ completing his residency and fellowship in 1993. Throughout his career as a practicing gastroenterologist, he has been involved in clinical research, academic teaching and advanced endoscopy. Excellent medical care involves compassion, communication and patience. Dr. Kim is devoted to being the best gastroenterologist that he can be for the people who have given him the honor and privilege to be treated by him. When he is not taking care of his patients, he enjoys traveling, reading, listening to music, and exercising.

He takes his time to understand and hear what is troubling you, what your experience is like, and then provide you with a treatment plan.  All the while being kind, caring and personable.

    Dr. Kim is fantastic! My last GI went to another hospital and I have struggled to find another good one. Dr Kim is hands down the BEST of the 7 I have seen in the last 10 years. He is always on time for appointments. Does his own follow up calls after procedures and his knowledge is incredible! I have suffered with GERD and Schatzki rings for 8 years, requiring  an upper endo every 6 months with dilation. Receiving little to no relief. 1 visit and 1 procedure with Kim and I have 100% relief!!
